Vinyl Richie took his vinyl listening hobby to become a world known DJ. Vinyl Richie started deejaying serious in the Lower East Side section of NYC, where he gained the respect of the underground rapper scene as a DJ for End Of the Weak better known as "the Longest Open Mic in NYC". With his DJ skills developing he also scored a weekly resident lounge gig where he learned how to rock a party using his ecletic music style. 

While spreading his name across the city Vinyl thought he would take his name upsate to the city of Buffalo where he attended college. There is where he met another DJ named Blu Boii and the two began a DJ crew named "Jet Blu Soundz". While deejaying in school Vinyl has had the chance to open for Lloyd Banks, Stevie Wonder, Damian Marley, DJ Absolute, DJ Envy, DJ Enuff and DJ Funk Master Flex. Vinyl Richie also deejayed for his school Radio Station "WBNY" where he learned how to run and successfully produce a radio show. Before leaving school Jet Blu Soundz wanted to take their music production more seriously so they started Blu Vinyl Productions where they started to produce records for artist and compose remixes and mash-ups. 

In the summer of 2006 Vinyl Richie got the opportunity to become "Grammy Award winning artist" Rhymefest official tour DJ. While back in NYC Vinyl Richie started deejaying club events all over the city like Home, Myst, Stereo, the Remote Lounge and the list keep growing. Not just a local NYC DJ, Vinyl Richie deejays events all over the states and the world ranging from big concerts to private events. With the reputation and the name getting bigger, Vinyl Richie is proving to become one of NYC's go-to party rockers.
